  • Pre-requisites
This course is not for pure beginners and it is Not a concealed carry course. We expect you to have a few hundred rounds down range with the pistol you are bringing to the course, know how it operates, and have EXCELLENT MUZZLE AWARENESS! We want everyone to go home with the same amount of holes inthem as when they started.  ND = Day Over
  • Topics Covered
This course will go over all the basics, draw, grip, stance, trigger control, and sight alignment.
Red dot optics use and zeroing.
Malfunctions, speed and tactical reloads.
Positional shooting, shooting in and around vehicles.
Unconventional shooting postions.
Moving and shooting, shooting from cover, timed drills and more.
  • Physical Requirements
There will be some light running  / jogging involved in this course. You will be moving in and out of various postions, including standing, kneeling, and prone.
During the vehicle portion, you will be shootingfrom inside a vehicle and around vehicles.

Full Size or Compact Semi-automatic Pistol
Outside the waistband duty type or something with retention (if you run it will not come out)
.380, 9mm, .40, 45 cal  (anything else – ask)
Red Dots Recommended  – Weapon lights allowed
Ridged Belt with 2 magazine pouches
5 Magazines
Ear Pro  –  Ballistic Eye Protection
  • NO GO’s
No Sub-Compact or Micro Pistols (not sure – ask)   No Revolvers
No inside the waistband holsters

SAFETY EQUIPMENT: MUST HAVE

  • Ballistic Eye Protection – wrap around preferred
  • Ear protection

PERIPHERALS: OPTIONAL

  • Proper Clothing ( check forecast )
  • Proper footwear  – no man sandals or flops !!
  • We Recommend you bring anything else you need to be comfortable:
  • Hat or headwear for the sun
  • Bug Spray – Tick Spray – Spring and Summer can get buggy
  • Sunscreen
  • Food, snacks and water (we will break for lunch)

Cancellation Policy

Registration fee is non-refundable

Cancellations made 60 days or more before course date: 50% refund

Cancellations made less than 60 days Prior to Training:  No refund

You may find someone to fill in for you, so you don’t lose your deposit.

We do not collect full payment up front like most companies, therefore if you cancel less than 7 days prior to the course you will be responsible for the balance of payment, your credit card will be charged and you will not be able to register for any other courses until that balance is paid. If we have other deposits from you for another course, we will apply that to the money owed, and a new deposit/s will be needed.

LODGING DETAILS

This course will be held at the Ben Franklin Range located at 1130 Ridge Road, Templeton PA.  The range has a very nice bunk house that can sleep up to 12 students, the bunks include all linens, pillows, and towels. The rooms have bunkbeds, you will be sharing with other guys, some upper and lower bunk beds, 3 full baths with showers, a full kitchen with range, microwave, coffee pots, an outdoor grill, and a great view!! Highly recommended to stay on site.
